The Blue Gourami originates from Burma,Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. A sub species of the blue gourami is the Trichocaster Sumatunus, the Opaline Gourami, which has more dark mottled wavy lines and there is also a gold variation. As with other gourami it can breath in air through it ’s labyrinth organ. What do you feed them? They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried and flake foods. How easy are they to breed?
