Description
Chilatherina alleni "Wapoga"-Gary Lange Strain. Natural Range: Wapoga, West Papua Source: Aquarium Bred and Raised Estimated size at shipping: 1-2" Adult Size: around 3-4" Overview: This fishes' small size and glorious (no, really, GLORIOUS!) coloring have made it one of the most popular rainbowfish. Once they settle in and grow up, they are stunning to behold. The parents of these fish were raised from eggs sourced from Gary Lange. Peaceful, active fish. Rainbowfish are generally hardy and easy to care for. Rainbowfish are truly unique in that the males of most species have a bright iridescent strip running from the top of the mouth up over the ridge of the back and continuing to the dorsal fin. Males frequently "flash" this bright strip on-and-off in absolutely stunning displays. When they flash, it looks like a neon light is being tu. Source: Dan's Fish stock list.
