Best known for its vivid colouration and sizeable nuchal hump, It is a very large fish that’s somewhat ill tempered. The aquarium should be large as these fish grow to a large size and the water should be soft and acidic. The tank should be furnished with rock, wood and sand or very fine gravel to facilitate their strong urge to dig. The decor should be fixed down properly as they’re strong enough to redecorate their own environment. Plants are better off kept plastic or silk as these fish will most definitel.
