Hi Fin Swordtail. Hi Fin Swordtails are a unique and uncommon variety of Swordtails. In addition to the distinctive swordlike extension at the lower part of its tail (in males), they have elegant flowing fins that make them stand apart from other Swordtail varieties. In red or orange colors, they will add a graceful addition to your freshwater aquarium. In their natural environment, Swordtails make their homes in rapidly flowing streams and rivers. Because of their active nature, we recommend a tank size of twenty gallons or more with a secured cover. This stock is an easy choice for both beginners and accomplished aquarists. With a peaceful temperament, Hi Fin Swordtails grow to four inches and are easy to keep with other passive stock. However, male swordtails can get territorial and exhibit some aggressi.
