Substantially rounder in shape, they have become one of the more popular variations of Molly in recent years. The only real difference in needs is that they require much more gentle flow as they are not as prolific at swimming. Everything else is exactly the same as any other molly. The aquarium needs to be spacious as these fish get to a noteworthy size and the water must be hard and alkaline. Most Mollies enjoy having a little bit of salt in their aquariums.
