Hummingbird Tetra. Source: Harvested from Nature Estimated size at shipping: Tiny-0.75" Adult Size: around 0.5-1" Overview: NOTE: Many of these are very small...like, really tiny. They ship fine at this size, but they are likely to need to grow out before they can be added to a community aquarium. A great nano tetra that stays under an inch when full grown. Tetras are one of the most popular aquarium fish because their are just so many kinds that there is something for everyone. Their generally small size and peaceful nature make them easy aquarium inhabitants and many of them are strikingly colorful, making them pleasing to watch. Setup Considerations: The key to keeping almost all the tetras is to keep them in large groups. In nature, they tend to form shoal and/or schools as a defense against predation. I.
