Israeli Strain Japan Blue Gold Lyretail Guppy - 0.5-1" Pair (1 Male, 1 Female)
Poecilia reticulata
Description
Israeli Strain Japan Blue Gold Lyretail Guppy - 0.5-1" Pair (1 Male, 1 Female). Remarks: A perfect starter fish! Guppies are peaceful community fish that reproduce with ease. They are livebearers, meaning the females release live fry rather than laying eggs. It is recommended to keep more females than males, as males can easily harass females with relentless attempts to reproduce, leading to stress in the females. This line of guppies were originally produced in Israel which has gained a reputation for producing some of the most beautiful and healthy modern guppy lines. It should be noted that the original lines likely were produced by hybridizing guppies and endlers so they are most likely not a pure species but this goes for most modern strains. Now we breed them here on site to be able to offer these fish to fishkeepers in the United States. They stand out in just. Source: Imperial Tropicals live fish catalogue.
