They are often overlooked in shops as they may appear quite drab at first glance, but once settled in a home aquarium, the iridescent strips of blue and orange make them stand out in any home aquarium. Though they can adapt to a variety of conditions, they should be kept in soft acidic water in the long term. Congos need a large tank of at least 4ft long. They tank should be planted to give.
