Growing to a maximum of 2cm, they’re a colourful addition for smaller aquariums that may not be able to accommodate anything larger. They are a great beginner fish as a result and tend to be quite forgiving as long as the aquarium is maintained properly and water parameters don’t go into the extremes. This is a shoaling species that should be kept in groups of 6 or more individuals so that they feel more secure.
