This delicate looking little fish may seem a little drab is shops, but when they are ready to colour up, the sparkle with Red, Green and Blue hues as the light reflects on its scales. It is also able to make an audible croaking sound! The aquarium should be planted and furnished with plenty of drift wood, rocks and caves to serve as hiding places. The filtration needs to be decent, but it is very important that the flow is kept as gentle as possible.
