Unlike many of the colourful Parrots, this one isn’t dyed and will therefore retain its colours if cared for properly. The aquarium should be spacious to accommodate these large fish and it should be furnished with lots of rocks and bog wood for the fish to explore with fine substrate as this fish does thoroughly enjoy digging.
