Description
Long Fin Corydoras paleatus. Source: Aquarium Bred and Raised Estimated size at shipping: 1-2" Adult Size: around 2-2.5" Overview: Just as peaceful and hardy as the traditional Salt and Pepper Cory, but with impressively long dorsal fins when grown. Some of the fish for sale are juveniles and their fins will grow even longer as they mature. Lineage 6: Corydoras type fishes come from 9 distinct lineages. For the most part, the species in the Brochis, Aspidoras, and Scleromystax lineages have already been assigned to distinct genera. The remaining lineages are also likely to be split into their own genera once taxonomists get around to reviewing the groupings. Most Corydoras are perfect citizens in a peaceful community aquarium. There are hundreds of species with a wide range of colors, patterns, and fin shapes. Affecti. Source: Dan's Fish stock list.
