Electric Blue Ram - 1-2" Unsexed. Remarks: The electric blue ram is a striking color variant of the German blue ram. They have been selectively bred to be covered in metallic blue scales that shimmer in the light. They also have a burnt orange spot on the top of their head that makes for some nice contrast. This coloration is very similar to that of the electric blue acara making them almost like a miniature version. Rams have been popular in the hobby for decades for their brilliant colors and easy reproduction. They are small cichlids from South America that rarely grow larger than 2". Their name, "Small Eartheater," gives clues about their feeding mechanism: They sift sand through their mouths and gills, swallowing small bits of food.
